I am so thankful that my sister in law put me on to this place. My order was delicious! I got a large bowl with half chicken and beef. The chicken was very tender and well seasoned as was the beef. The rice was perfectly cooked. The whole dish was perfectly sauced. The avocado was also very fresh and perfectly ripe. The restaurant itself is on the small side and kind of loud due to the open kitchen, but it didn't really bother me. You can tell that they are busy as there was a steady stream of people coming in and plenty of phone orders, but food was prepared fast. I highly recommend!

I've been to this place about 10 times. Use the drive-thru and ask for extra sauce because it is so delicious. The service is great the lady at the counter is always super nice to me and gives me exactly what I want every time she even double checks it before I leave. I would recommend this place to anybody anybody anybody

The Large Teriyaki Chicken Bowl ($11.75) is tender, fresh, and filling. Each bite is filled with savory chicken coated lightly in teriyaki sauce. I arrived at The Spot on Friday (near 5:30pm). The order needed 6 minutes. The staff is welcoming and helpful. However, I recommend ordering to-go. The location is loud (from the knives hitting cutting boards). Also, the plaza is dingy; there's an elderly man with a shopping cart near the entrance. I recommend cash since The Spot charges an additional 75 cents for card. Overall, The Spot serves delicious teriyaki. The fresh ingredients, large portions, and savory flavors make this spot shine. I happily recommend. 4.5/5

I can't believe I've never reviewed The Spot! We recently picked up food here because family was visiting and had never tried it. My picky BIL got a beef & chicken bowl and liked it. We each got a different bowl and enjoyed it. Staff here is always friendly and my order is always correct, whether I call or order in person. The interior is small and it can get crowded, but it's always clean.

Talk about hole in the wall! I would've never thought a little spot in a plaza that's tucked away in a corner can deliver so much flavor! We ordered take out and the lady behind the counter seemed busy - ringing us up and answering the phone at the same time. She was on the phone and then proceeded to ask us if we wanted anything else, like we shouldn't have assumed she was asking whoever she was talking to on the phone. It would've been nice if she would've just taken a second to take the phone order or ringing us up, not at the same time but that's just me. We ordered 4 chicken and beef teriyaki plates and the total came out to around $70. So it is a bit pricey but we definitely got a lot of food. The bags were heavy! The chicken and beef were both cooked well. The chicken didn't feel dry and the beef had a nice char to it. The teriyaki sauce was a smidge on the saltier side but I thought it was deliciousssss. I didn't even use the extra sauce that came with it because what they served on the plate was enough! The side salad that came with it could use a lot of help though. The dressing tasted very processed? Like something was just kind of off about it. It made the cucumbers taste like pickles.. idk hahahah I was quite puzzled. If you try it, you let me know if it's just me!

All I can say is YUM! I used to work in Anaheim, and there was this awesome teriyaki chicken bowl place I totally loved. Now that I no longer work there, I miss it so much. I needed another go to teriyaki chicken place and wasn't looking for a place like Yoshinoya. So here I am, on a search for TC near home. I did a search on Yelp and Google, and TST seemed to have some good reviews. The photos I saw showed generous portions for a great price. So I paid a little visit to this joint, which was actually in the same shopping center as Yoshinoya. Don't get me wrong, the Y has great food too. But TST had a much better TC bowl! Service was awesome! The cashier showed me the sizes when I asked. They offered avocado, but I kindly declined. And they made sure to let me know it was topped with sesame and green onions, and I excitedly replied "no other way I'd have it!" It didn't take more than 5 minutes until I was scooping the first heaping bite into my mouth. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice cooked perfect, and you know us Asians want perfectly cooked rice. I was so glad they gave me a squeeze bottle of teriyaki sauce, because after the first bite, I doused the chicken with it! Light, a bit salty, and that sweetness we all love in a teriyaki sauce. For those trying to cut back on carbs, make sure you don't devour each bite of chicken with a heaping scoop of rice. There's enough rice to feed an army. Not really, but it's a sizable portion. I got a large bowl, and I ate the whole thing. Granted I just came from depositing some blood at the lab for a test, which meant I had to fast for 12 hours, I was really hungry. 5 stars TST! I'll be back again when I'm craving TC again. But maybe next time, I won't eat as much rice. The dining area was a fairly good size. It wasn't crowded at all. This was post lunch, around 2 pm. Maybe 5 tables occupied out of 10. This is a guess, I didn't actually count. Lol. So if you're craving a teriyaki chicken bowl, I highly recommend this place!

The Spot has got to be one of my favorite teriyaki places to go to! 10/10 hello ;) It's a neat little gem sitting in a plaza with a huge parking lot. There is also indoor seating if you do decide to dine in. I usually phone in my order 15 mins prior to picking it up & the food always comes out fresh! The portions are great, service is good & the workers are friendly and welcoming which is always a bonus. My typical order is the chicken bowl (add extra green onion please!) and a bacon cheeseburger - amazing! My favorite thing about the food is probably how well seasoned it is & not to mention - charred to perfection! So you get that nice smokey flavor in every bite. Yum! Side note: It pairs perfectly with sriracha!! I highly recommend The Spot! The locals know what's up! But if you want to try a new spot, this is it. You won't be disappointed - only satisfied. I'll be back again next week Lmao

I was in the mood for a bowl, so I searched Yelp to try something new. I found the restaurant and made my way. The inside of the restaurant is spacious. There's plenty of tables. The menu is standard. They offer bowls, burgers, and salads. I opted for a chicken and beef plate. The portions were huge. I was able to make 3 meals out of one single bowl. I usually don't like teriyaki sauce, but I tried the bowl with teriyaki sauce. It was good and not too sweet. I love that they add a good amount of avocado for a little over two dollars. This is definitely a good place to get lunch or dinner to enjoy something healthy and filling.
